The surest way to corrupt a youth

The surest way to corrupt a youth is to instruct him to hold in higher esteem those who think alike than those who think differently.”

—Friedrich Nietzsche, philosopher (1844–1900)

We talk of thinking outside the box—we have think tanks, we deride group think, which is when the whole group agrees with no discussion and no dissenting opinion. Diversity of opinion is the essence of creativity.”
