Just like household chores
which are never done
there is always
one more thing
that needs to be cleaned,
cooked, mended
or put away
Work also never gets done
there is always
one more item
that needs to be studied,
written, calculated
or filed away
I’m always catching up
but I’m never “caught up”
when I think I have finished
terminated, accomplished, resolved
there is always still
one more thing
that needs to be done.
